For the Connected Missionary

Missionary Geek

Missionary Geek is a place to share news and information as it relates to technology and Christian missionaries.

As a missionary and geek myself, I attempt to boil down news and developments in the technology world that could have an impact, either positive or negative, on the spread of the Gospel. As I find new technology tools that might be helpful in some way in mission work I will try to share that with you.

The information presented at this site will become more valuable as you comment on posts and share with me information you find and how it impacts you as a missionary as well. I am open to others writing content for the website. If you are interested in sharing how you use technology, contact me about either writing a post or giving me the information I need to write about how you are using tech tools in your ministry.

You can follow MissionaryGeek on Twitter or Facebook. You are welcome to also follow my personal Twitter account.

Outside of our professional IT guy providing support in the home office, I have become the person fielding questions from other missionaries in our organization related to technology and mission work. I certainly don’t claim to know everything, but I do enjoy sharing what I have learned. Please feel free to share with me if you think there is a topic that should be covered on Missionary Geek.
